Pamela to show at New Zealand fashion week

Pamela Anderson will bring some beach chic to Air New Zealand Fashion Week (ANZFW) in Auckland next month (21 – 25 September 2009). Set to present her new clothing range ‘Muse’, Anderson may even appear on the catwalk modelling one of her “eco animal-friendly” swimsuits.
The vegetarian-animal-rights-advocate has produced the ‘Muse’ range with co-designer Richie Rich, who’s also coming to Auckland. It is the first time a US designer label has shown at NZ Fashion Week.
MTV Asia and Discovery channel presenter and former model Denise Keller, cover star of high profile international magazines like Vogue, Elle, New Woman, Style, Harper’s Bazaar and Cleo, will also be at the event. Keller is said to be an avid fan of New Zealand designers.
The ‘Muse’ womenswear line, swimwear made of eco-friendly fabrics and animal and cruelty-free footwear, will be launched at New York Fashion Week in early September, before coming to the New Zealand event at Auckland’s Viaduct Harbour.
Anderson’s eco-friendly clothing was seen as a good fit with New Zealand, according to Miami publicist Brian Long.
