Pamela Anderson slams rumours of being broke

Hollywood star Pamela Anderson shot down rumours of becoming almost penniless due to a string of financial crunches. Three months ago, the 43-year-old beauty was listed under the ‘delinquent tax payers’ by the California Franchise Tax Board for $500,000 debt. But the former Baywatch actress insisted she is far from being poor as she bought several houses when she was earning a lot of money, as reported by Mirror online.

Pam said: “I have a beautiful home in Canada, nine little cabins on the dock that I’m building on Vancouver Island and a store in the front. That’s going to be kind of my sanctuary. I think eventually I’ll be out of LA. I have been building my place in Malibu for four years, it’s not finished yet”.

Blaming the economic crisis for her ailing bank account, the star said that people who hired her failed to pay up.

She continued: “Everyone went through a lot in the last couple of years. The economic situation caused a lot of stress. People didn’t pay me, but it’s all sorted out now”.

Pamela Anderson returning to pantomime

Pamela Anderson will return to pantomime this year! Pamela made her debut in Aladdin last year at the New Wimbledon Theatre and will appear at the Liverpool Empire alongside Les Dennis, as she has again been cast as the Genie In The Bottle, a role she said she is “thrilled” to play for a second time.

When asked, she highlighted her excitement about spending some time in Liverpool-a city she confessed she has never visited before.

Pamela is following the footsteps of Henry Winkler – her fellow American at Fonz in Happy Days – who appeared in pantomime in Liverpool as well last year. She stated that she even checked with him and he had only great things to say about the city and the people, so now it is time for her to find it out by herself.

The former Playboy model will be spending three weeks in the city as the production is scheduled to run from 10 December till 2 January.

Pamela’s crush on Obama

The former Playboy model and actress, was quoted saying at the Daily Star “I love him. He is incredibly sexy. Everything he does is brilliant. He is my favourite political figure. There’s a lot going on in the world and I think he’s got it together.”

In spite of her limited political knowledge, Pamela wants to join the White House just for Obama “If I danced with Obama and then went into office, there would be no crap,” she said.

When Obama won the presidential elections in 2008 Pamela reportedly wrote an open letter to him. She requested him to legalize marijuana so that the American farmers could farm hemp, to pull out troops from Iraq and to promote vegetarianism.

She had expressed her desire to “do the fandango” with the president earlier when she was part of the competition.
When Pamela was asked by RadarOnline what will be her goal after being eliminated from the contest, she replied: “Well I guess I’m not dancing with President Obama now because I didn’t win. I wanted to do it, I wanted to.”
