Pamela Anderson at Essex nightclub
Pamela Anderson left aside the glitz of Hollywood and showed up at a provincial nightclub in Essex last weekend.
The star marked the second birthday of venue Funky Mojoe in South Woodford, which claims on its website to be ‘the most talked about bar in Essex’. Pam was wearing a see-through dress, heels and lashings of fake tan. She posed for pictures with a host of leering male punters brandishing pints.
She returned to London early morning and poped into Sutra nightclub in North London suburb Whetstone for half an hour.
The Baywatch star is currently in Britain promoting her appearance as the Genie of the Lamp in Aladdin in Liverpool this winter and appeared on the relaunched One Show with Jason Manford and Alex Jones last week to talk about it.
The 43-year-old actress is in the production at Liverpool Empire Theatre from December 10 and said she can’t wait to return to the stage. She admitted pantomime is what she loves doing: “I feel that, at this point in my career, I don’t want to do another television show. I don’t want to do a film. I’m really enjoying what I do now. I have two homes in Malibu, a home in Canada that I’m building, and I just love pouring my heart out into this part of my life”.
She continued: “Being halfway through my life, I think we start feeling less invincible and we start thinking more about the important things. I’ve always been involved and now I feel like this is where I should be headed, more so than wearing bikinis.”
The star also took part in Dancing With The Stars, the US version of Strictly, earlier this year, but was voted off after seven weeks.
